245 suspected criminals, prostitutes arrested in Kumasi

The police in Ashanti Region have arrested 245 suspected criminals and sex workers at various criminal dens in the Kumasi. Joy News’ reporter Nana Yaw Gyimah said the suspects are being screened for processing before a court. The Regional Police Command has explained the exercise forms part of its strategies to rid the metropolis of criminals. Regional Police chief, COP Ken Yeboah told the media Thursday, the operation was the biggest swoop ever done in the metropolis. He said 35 female suspects believed to be commercial sex workers have been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit for further investigations. This is literally being born with a silver spoon in the mouth. Gifty Anti’s daughter, not a few months old, already owns shares in one of the largest oil conglomerates. Gifty Anti and Nana Ansah Kwao IV’s daughter was outdoored over the weekend, in a star studded ceremony in Edumasa. The miracle baby was christened Nyame Animunyam Afia Asaa Afrakoma Sintim Misa, with the ceremony attended by KSM, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Becca, KOD and George Owusu, former CEO of EO Group of Companies. 'Save My Ink Forever' Allows Families To Keep Tattooed Skin Of Loved Ones After Death

Many of us keep mementoes of loved ones who’ve died, from letters they wrote to jewellery with sentimental meaning. But given the chance, would you opt to keep a tattoo from someone after they’ve passed away? A team of funeral directors have launched a business allowing family members to keep the tattooed skin of the deceased and display it as art. Since launching last year, Save My Ink Forever has had hundreds of customers in the US and is now hoping to extend its client base overseas. The business is ran by Kyle Sherwood along with his father Mike and another friend, who’s also a funeral embalmer. The trio came up with the idea after a casual chat with friends in the funeral business about post-death keepsakes.
